Changing
a Life
We are all called to help
one another. It will take all of us to build and support New Life Centers.
A
monthly gift of $25.00 will support one New Life Center resident for one
day.
A monthly gift of
$175.00 will support one New Life Center residents for one week.
A monthly gift of
$760.00 will support one New Life Center residents for one month.
Responding
to the needs
The current campus of the
New Life Centers has capacity to house 125 total residents. We are almost at our
maximum. Equipping and furnishing a rapid growing residential facility is an
ongoing process. We have a waiting list of over 30 people. In order to bring the
residence to full capacity we need to add a full kitchen, commercial washers and
dryers, additional bunk beds and bedding, cribs, and child care items, plus two
15 passenger vans. These immediate needs total well over $150,000.
These same needs continue
to grow with additional; residents. Within the next 12 months we will need to
move the women and children to another building on campus. This will make room
for a total of 125 men and 100 women and children. A preliminary proposal for
these renovations was $750,000. This does not include furnishings or staffing.
As you can see our needs are great. Luke 3:38, “Give and it shall be given to
you in good measure…”
Preparing
for the Future
Goals and plans are
events that have not happened yet. Priorities help us choose which goals are
most important. Planning changes goals into actions and dreams into reality.

Many necessary projects
will become future priorities. Today we have 16 people living on campus in our
after care program, creating a need for transitional homes throughout the Fort
Myers area. We need transitional housing to accommodate men with staff and
housing for women with children, separate as they make the final transition into
society. With the current needs of our community and rapid growth of the New
Life Centers, we foresee the need to expand our campus to a 4-50,000 sq. ft.
location in the next 24 months.
